SAN MATEO, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES, October 24, 2023 /EINPresswire.com/ — Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts is packing its bags! Just in time for its 20th anniversary, the Academy is pleased to announce a move of its corporate office and long-time flagship San Mateo Campus to a new First Street location in San Jose, Calif. “It’s a decision that enhances the educational offerings and expands programs,” says Fred Faridian, Vice President of Campus Operations.
According to Faridian, the school has been evaluating “the big move” for a few years, with leaders dutifully scouting for a quality prospective location over the last year and a half. “This decision has been primarily driven by our commitment to provide quality and affordable education,” says Fairidan of the new standalone 40,000 square foot facility offering substantial benefits for the students, faculty, and staff.
Moreover, the new facility offers more efficient classroom configurations, a working space for staff and faculty, plus the ability to provide all student-related services in one convenient location. Plus, getting to the campus will be easier thanks to its prime position near the US-101 and I-880 freeways. A bonus is access to public transportation, including the VTA light rail. Further, the site offers increased parking options and an enhanced security infrastructure.
A desire to meet the needs of the community and employment partners and the ability to offer additional programs precipitated the move. “Gurnick Academy is responding to the needs of healthcare employers in the San Jose area,” says Burke Malin, the Institution’s Chief Operating Officer, of the direction. “Gurnick prides itself on being responsive to both employers and the communities they serve. The ability for Gurnick to offer excellent career opportunities for students is what we strive for.”
“This relocation is not just about changing our physical location; it symbolizes our commitment to the transformative power of career-focused healthcare education, fostering strong community relationships, and engaging with the business community and the healthcare employers and partners,” says Marc Feldman, campus director. “With excellence as our compass, we are excited to work together to build partnerships and a brighter future for our shared communities.”
“We hope our wonderful students, instructors, and Gurnick Academy team members will enjoy our new facility. We are working tirelessly to ensure minimal disruption to our education and operations,” says Zara Gourji, Gurnick’s Chief Process Officer. “As the quote goes, `Nothing is permanent except change.’ We believe that this change is part of growth and improvement. Our new location is cozy and matches the positive energy we work to provide to promote individual and institutional growth.”
The move is planned for 2024. The San Jose HQ and campus address will be 1641 N. First Street, San Jose, CA, 95112. For questions, please call 1-877-GURNICK.~
