American R&B sensation Kenny Lattimore will be returning to South Africa for a one-night-only performance on Saturday 26 November. Lattimore is set to share the stage with several other afro-pop, R&B and gospel artists at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria.

WHO IS KENNY LATTIMORE? 

As a young boy in Washington D.C, Kenny Lattimore grew up listening to artists like Chaka Khan, Marvin Gaye, Donny Hathaway and Stevie Wonder. As per his biography, the musician became the lead singer for R&B group Maniquin. 

In 1995, he relocated to New York where he kicked off his solo career as an R&B/Soul artist. Since then, he has serenaded his fans with soulful singles like For YouNever Too Busy and You Are My Starship

Lattimore has also collaborated with artists like Musiq Soulchild, Rachelle Farrell, Nancy Williams and Grammy award-winning rapper Kanye West. 

KENNY LATTIMORE RETURNS TO MZANSI 

The 52-year-old singer has performed in South Africa in 2012 and 2018. In an interview with SowetanLive 10 years ago, Lattimore said every time he is in Mzansi, he finds it hard to leave. 

“I am even thinking about bringing my son over. Most importantly, I have friends here,” the singer said at the time. 

The talented singer is set to perform for one night only at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria on Saturday 26 November. He will be sharing the stage with artists and DJs like Sentle Lehoko, TBose Mokwele, Sweet Mike, Wilson B Nkosi and DJ Khalo.
